Managing your profile

Everyone on XOXO gets their own profile that can be part of as many accounts as you'd like. No shared passwords and no per-user pricing.

Your profile is you: your name, your email address, and the accounts you belong to. It’s separate from any one account, so one sign-in covers every newsletter you help run.

Sign in

There are no passwords. You sign in with Google, Apple, or a code sent to your email, and every method leads to the same profile as long as it uses the same email address.

  1. Visit app.xoxo.email.
  2. Select Continue with Google, Continue with Apple, or Continue with email.
  3. If you chose email, enter the six-digit code from the message XOXO sends you.

The method you used last time is marked Last used, so it’s easy to find again.

Sign out

  1. Select the actions menu in the lower left.
  2. Select Sign out.

Sign out when you’re done on a shared device. It ends the session on that device only.

Create an account

Your first sign-in creates your first account, and all it asks for is a name. You can create more accounts at any time, for another newsletter or another project. Each one has its own audience, forms, team, and settings.

  1. Select the actions menu in the lower left.
  2. Select Accounts.
  3. Select Create account, then enter a name.

Switch between accounts

  1. Select the actions menu in the lower left.
  2. Select Accounts.
  3. Select the account you want to open.

To join someone else’s account, ask them to invite you. To leave one, remove yourself from its team.

Update your name or email address

Your name is what teammates see in the app. Your email address is where sign-in codes and account messages arrive.

  1. Select the actions menu in the lower left.
  2. Select Profile.
  3. Make your changes and select Save.

Changing your email address sends a code to the new address. Enter it to finish the change. Until you do, the old address stays in place.
