Managing billing settings

Learn how billing works during early access and what it will look like after, and how to delete your account. Billing is for the account owner only.

XOXO has one plan. Everyone gets every feature, and the price follows your subscriber count. The Billing section of Settings is where that shows up, and only the account owner can see it.

Billing during early access

XOXO is free during early access. There’s nothing to set up, and your subscriber count won’t pause sending. The Billing section says so, and that’s all it shows for now.

We’ll email you before billing launches, with time to review the pricing and set up billing before anything changes.

What billing will look like

Up to 100 subscribers stays free. Past that, your price follows your audience, up and down, automatically. The pricing page lists every price, and the same ladder appears in the Billing section so you can see where your audience sits.

  • Set up billing collects a card and a billing address in one step. You can do it any time, or wait until it’s needed.
  • Once billing is set up, your price adjusts as your audience grows or shrinks. Increases include a prorated charge for the rest of the month. Lower prices start at the end of your billing period.
  • Manage billing opens your payment method and invoice history.

Once billing is set up, XOXO emails you as you approach your subscriber limit and after your price increases. A large import can take you past your subscriber limit before an advance notice goes out.

Importing is never blocked by your subscriber count. Importing explains how a large import is priced.

Delete your account

Deleting an account is permanent. It removes every email, subscriber, form, and setting, and stops billing immediately.

  1. Open Settings.
  2. Select Delete account.
  3. Type the account name to confirm.
  4. Select Delete.

Caution

Only the account owner can delete an account. Export your subscribers first if you might want them later.
